The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor are the "eyes" of your engine management system. They tell the car’s computer exactly how much air is entering the engine, allowing it to inject the precise amount of fuel needed for efficient combustion. Over time, these delicate sensors can become coated with fine dust, oil vapors, or carbon residue, leading to poor fuel economy, rough idling, or "sluggish" acceleration.
